Portable Radio
Portable Radio is a touring audio
social mapping project of the visual arts in the UK, which visited ten locations
from May 2008 until May 2009, talking to local arts practitioners and
members of the public about their local art scene.
All ten visits have now been completed and all audio is published online. Listen to the audio files from Luton, the Isle of Wight, Liverpool, Windermere, Falmouth, Whitstable, Gateshead, Bournemouth, Sheffield or Bath or find out more on the Portable Radio website.
More information also at the Portable Radio page.
Way East
Way East, the visual arts project space in my house, will be temporarily reinstated
for 2009's Hackney Wicked festival from 31 July to 2 August 2009. Details
on the Way East project site.
Analogue
A dialogue programme commission by Craftspace in
Birmingham in the run-up to their Taking
Time exhibition and recorded on the making
a slow revolution project
blog (authored by exhibition curator and maker Helen
Carnac).
Audio recently added online includes one to one dialogues between practitioners, edited talks from a recent Southbank Centre event and practitioner-led group dialogue about the nature of interdisciplinary practice and a list of publications. More information on the Analogue page.
Rational Rec
For any Rational Rec fans out there,
we are putting together plans to resurrect the beast in an altered, commission-oriented
